The Couple That Plays Together Stays Together

Posted: Aug 7, 2015 at 06:37 PM

A very nerdy Borderlands game proposal I wanted to be able to do something truly unique and special that represented something only her and I could fully appreciate. Tia’s like me, she loves an adventure, to travel, and to do fun and interactive things together. So I knew that whatever I came up as a proposal needed to be an interactive...

All disassembled

Posted: Mar 13, 2014 at 10:49 PM

Ok, so its all disassembled now. I hate myself for not dedicating time to this poor old thing. Been riding the ol’ wing around. But I’m diving back in. Working on the wiring harness now, fixing some things that were wrong with it and making a few improvements. Definitely going to make another monoshock for this bike now. In the planning...

Motor is out now

Posted: Mar 13, 2014 at 10:43 PM

Progress has been slow. Lifes been too busy. But I managed to play with it some more this weekend. Just got the motor out and managed to tinker with a few things. Still kind of planning it as I go along. I’m starting to lean back towards building another monoshock bike. I just prefer the ride and look. I suppose it could almost be my...

First start-up! Runs beautifully

Awesome. Finished installing the new ultima ignition system, and fired up right away. Singin like a song now. I absolutely love the electronic ignition. Just flipping switches allows me to change the advance curve, rpm limit, and rear cylinder firing. Just brilliant. Pretty much only want electronic ignitions for all my bikes now from here on out....

Ordered parts: Ultima Electronic Ignition Kit, starter solenoid.

I’ve ordered a couple new things. Ultima elec igntion kit (module, plug wires, coil) and new starter solenoid. Should be here any day now. Once I get it installed and running right ill share the settings im using. I’ll be able to hook it up to the computer to fine tune it. Fixed a few other wiring issues. And the original coil and ignition...

Tryin to bring the old girl back to life

Getting closer to working order. Rear cylinder isn’t firing yet. It has great compression, spark, gas. But this ignition module is junk. 2 of the trimpot controls are busted. So I’ll either find a replacement of this unit, or go with a better elec ignition setup for it. May need to first get my hands on the stock points tho, to be sure of...

Picked up a new project bike: 1980 Harley Davidson Sportster - Ironhead

Posted: Mar 13, 2014 at 10:17 PM

I’ve got a busy winter ahead of me. Doing 2 projects this year. I’ve posted phase 2 of my goldwing bobber here just a moment ago. But over the weekend I picked up my next project. This one to be a cafe racer. Found an 80 ironhead sportster on craigslist, talked him down to $1,300. I feel like I got a good price on it. He said the...

2013 Road Trip

Posted: Mar 12, 2014 at 01:44 PM

While 2013 brought about a lot of unforeseen road-bumps, it did bring me on a much needed road-trip. As sort of a last minute decision, (quite literally it wasn’t until 3 days prior to leaving that I decided to go), I chose to go for it. The week leading up to leaving involved figuring out if my bike would even make the 5,125 mile trip. At the...

Let’s start from the beginning

Chances are if you’ve stumbled across my site and are wondering why it looks incomplete… well it’s because it is. You know how it is, your own projects are never complete when you can never be happy enough with the result. So I’m working on an entirely rendition with my site: this time around I’ve implemented my own packaged setup using...
